Costin Nistor, Managing Director of Fortim Trusted Advisors, was a lecturer within the BREC Academy 2024–2026, where he delivered the Property Management course, offering a practical perspective on the management of commercial properties.
As of this year, Costin Nistor serves as President of the Property Management Section within ROFMA – the Romanian Association for Workplace and Facility Management. With over 20 years of managerial experience, he is actively involved in BREC and ROFMA educational initiatives, contributing to the training of professionals in cities such as Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Iasi and Constanta.
His professional background includes leadership roles within BNP Paribas Real Estate, where he held the position of Managing Director Romania, as well as previous roles as Head of Property Management and Property Manager of the America House building. He also contributed to the entry of Morgan Stanley into the local market through the acquisition of the office building from AEW Europe.
He currently leads Fortim Trusted Advisors, a company affiliated through an alliance with BNP Paribas Real Estate, which manages an extensive portfolio of office and industrial spaces, playing an active role in the professionalization of the local market.
BREC Academy runs the only comprehensive real estate education program. Its courses are designed for real estate professionals and last 9 months, structured into 12 modules, covering topics from finance and capital markets consultancy to brokerage, legal aspects, and Property Management.

During the Property Management course within BREC (Bucharest Real Estate Club), Costin Nistor presented the Commercial Building Management services, explaining their role in maximizing asset performance and value—from operations and tenant relations to investment strategies. Participants analysed relevant case studies and explored BOMA measurement standards, essential for calculating leasable areas and associated costs.
This is the third consecutive year that Costin Nistor has been delivering this course as part of the BREC Academy educational program.
